Time for another few words from your correspondent…
Since the last blog, there has not been a great deal of activity. I have been out with Anike and Zula a few times – things there are slowly getting better. Anike still has more trust in me than in Zula but that will slowly change; we have managed to leave the farmyard without much ado several times now and Anike can ride her over the farmyard without any problem – even past large hay bales.
I got an email from Babs last week informing everyone that she and Ben had got married in Texas in June – very sneaky
Colin and Patricia celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on 21 August – apparently the main guests were put up in an expensive lodge and Mo, Patricia’s cousin, prepared all the food which was served at Broome Farm.
Plans are well advanced for the transfer of the Riding School website to my management. Should save a couple of hundred Euros a year and the site gets a make over and a more interactive character. Planning for going live is 1 December but if all goes well it could be even earlier.
And Mirjam has broken up with Robert after nearly a year – I don’t know any details but that is not for here anyway.
The weather has been a pretty mixed bag too – we have had reasonable temperatures but there has been an excess of rain. Only one chance in the past three or four weeks to go outside the riding school with our riders.
