Last night at a street theatre production in Roermond as part of the Limburg Festival 2010. Situated in a park between old towering oaks The Horned Man demonstrated the fine line between reality and fiction. What is true and what is not true?
Sadly, his microphone kept giving a lot of problems and parts of the “performance” came over rather amateurish – perhaps a decent soundcheck from all points of the arena would have shown up this problem before the start.
There was a certain amount of trickery but a lot was common sense or simply fogging the reasoning of the audience. Still, it was an interesting evening – even more so when 5 minutes after the end of the performance, it started to rain again; as if we hadn’t had enough rain already yesterday!
