The last day on the road. A good start with a little sun turned rapidly to more rain and showers after passing the first col
It was fairly slow and slippery a lot of the way. Nathy and Athos fell; the ground was so slippery, Athos had no footing.

We finally arrived in Lignairolles around 15:30. Transhumance Autumn/Winter 2011 was at an end. Quite an emotional moment – seeing all the horses at liberty and the end of an intensive four days.
The adventure was rounded of with champagne and a raclette grill in the evening. Bed was very late!
