As always, Tuesday evening is riding school evening. We seem to have got the routine going quite well, despite being a little short of help at times. As of today I am a qualified In-house Emergency and First-Aid Officer. The second part of the training was today where we had the chance to play with fire extinguishers (there was also a fair amount of fire theory and also a bit about evacuation.)

 

I feel I have spent a little too much time kneeling next to “victims” yesterday. The bruise from where Laika kicked me, two weeks ago, has traversed the knee and I now have a black and blue patch diametrically opposed to the place where I was kicked! And then comes the next email “…I have made a mistake with the dates….” and it turns out that it is the 8th after all and not the 15th as “corrected”!
